National Train A Teacher Day
This FREE one-day event will give teachers an opportunity to learn about self-defense from an individual and teacher’s perspective. From a teacher’s perspective we will cover school security, evacuation considerations, active shooter situations.
From the individual perspective, we will show and demonstrate a variety of self-defense alternatives. Unarmed self-defense, and various less than lethal options will be shown.
Students will be given a chance to try some of the various methods.
The last part of the class will deal with firearms. This section is totally optional; for those interested in getting a firearm or already have one and may be looking for ore information. We have a variety of Chaos Training Solutions training weapons as well as a variety of real firearms students may try.
Location: North End Gun Club, 7211 Herber Rd. New Tripoli, PA.
Time: 8AM – Approx 4PM
Cost: Free To All Educators and School Administration.
Classroom:
– Introduction.
– Safety briefing.
– Philosophy of school security.
– Site security.
– Active Shooter protocols.
– Overview of self-defense options.
Practice:
– Demonstration of unarmed self-defense.
– Demonstration and practice of less than lethal alternatives.
– Introduction to firearms.
Students:
– Bring current school I.D.
– Wear comfortable clothing and shoes.
– Lunch will be provided.
